UPDATE ON A NEW LAST MINUTE RANCH JUST OBTAINED IN NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO JUST EAST OF RATON. BARGAIN PRICES FOR THIS FALL FOR PRONGHORN, ELK AND MULE DEER.

This outfitter just acquired a 20,000 acre ranch located in excellent country close to the famous T.O. Ranch. While on a scouting trip the outfitter saw 28 bulls on one hillside, along with some scattered cows and bulls. This area has always produced real nice pronghorn and we expect some better than average mule deer to be taken. HE HAS LANDOWNER VOUCHERS TO ACQUIRE TAGS FOR 10 ELK, 6 MULE DEER AND 6 PRONGHORN FOR THIS FALL.

Pronghorn will be 3 days starting August 12 and running into mid-September. Due to last minute he will run the hunts guided 2×1 with lodging included for only $1,500 per hunter.

Elk hunts are 5 days guided 2×1 with lodging starting early October and running into November for only $5,300. This should be a good hunt for bulls over 280 inches.

Mule deer will be 5 days 2×1 for $4,600 starting mid-October.

These prices are discounted for the 2017 season due to short notice. Call Cliff Graham at 724-538-8686 for more details.

Here are the Behary brothers, Matt and Justin, with their Florida gators they took last week while on a family vacation.

Cliff and Bob and their families just returned from a New Zealand/Australia trip in July. They had a fantastic time visiting many places along the way and doing a little hunting in between. Overall just a great trip with the exception of Shosh’s experience snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef that ended in a medical flight, but all turned out just fine. Bob can tell you the story when you see him at one of the winter shows.

Blair, our guide, took us up a remote mountain to some cave paintings that are supposedly 30,000 to 50,000 years old. Pretty incredible.

Cliff shot this dingo while we were driving back to camp one evening.

While hunting the outback we saw a few fresh water crocodiles in what was left of small water holes along streams. The dry season was coming on fast.

Bob and his guide, Blair, with Bob’s big old trophy boar he took off a lagoon near aboriginal lands.

Bob and Shoshana Wodzisz with Shosh’s wild scrub bull taken in the outback.

Joe Karlovits and guides Jake and Kane with some hares they took on a fun night hunt while in New Zealand.

Cliff with his buffalo.

Bob took this impressive Australia water buffalo in the outback of the Northern Territory.

Dan Graham with his New Zealand mountain tahr.

Cliff with his fallow buck.

A group wave from Cliff’s family on our last day in Australia outside of Cairns.

Cliff hunted New Zealand a few days and took this free-range stag
and fallow buck.

IT IS TIME TO GET YOUR WYOMING PREFERENCE POINTS. GO TO https://wgfd.wyo.gov and follow the instructions to purchase points. Elk is $50, deer $40 and pronghorn is $30. By doing this you not only can accumulate points to possibly draw a better than average unit, but may be able to get a tag down the road for the regular price instead of paying for the special tag, which typically cost close to twice the regular tag. Special tags are typically easier to draw and in many cases a general regular tag will require a point or possibly two, where as a special tag may not require any or possibly one point depending on the unit. The tags are basically the same, but one is typically easier to draw than the other.

2017 Wyoming license prices
Regular bull elk draw $591 Special bull elk draw $1071
Regular buck deer draw $326     Special buck deer draw $566
Regular antelope $286      Special antelope buck $526

Here are a few 2017 hunts that are still available for this fall. Many of our top elk and deer hunts are filling already for 2018, so if you are seriously considering a 2018 hunt we recommend you calling one of our consultants within the next couple months.

2 MONTANA RANCHES OPEN FOR TRESPASS FEES

If you have a general deer tag for Montana and need a place to hunt we have access to 2 different ranches in southeastern Montana. One is a 60,000 acre mule deer property that has a rustic cabin available and a 20,000 acre ranch that is mostly agriculture and river bottoms and is really good for whitetails. Price is $2,000 per hunter. Last year over a period of 5 weeks they had 9 mule deer hunters kill 9 bucks and the better deer were in the 23 to 27 inch class. They had 4 whitetail hunters take 4 bucks and they mainly went in the 130 to 150 category. Price is $2,000 per hunter and they take a very limited amount of hunters. Call us for more details.
