This outfitter is located only 40 miles south of Orlando and this hunt is easily combined with a family vacation at Disney. He offers turkey hunts from March 18 to April 23 priced at $2,250 for 3 days on 25,000 private acres and you can also add a hog. Success has run 95 percent with 100 percent opportunity on mature gobblers. This hunt is in high demand so book early or expect to book at least a year in advance.
Hog hunts are $1,000 for the 3 days from January to April and include 2 hogs. Off-season from May to December is $750 for 3 days for 2 hogs and additional hogs can be taken on trophy fees. You can sit at blinds, spot and stalk or use hounds.
Gator hunting is a very fun and exciting sport. It can be done with the use of airboats at night with archery gear or spears. Rifles and a swamp buggy are used mostly in the day.
He offers 2 gator packages:
$1,750 gets you 3 hunting days for any gator 6 to 8 foot and must be under 9 foot. If you have a group of 3 or more it is $1,500 per hunter.
Trophy gator package is 3 days at $3,500 for 9 foot or better. His hunters have taken gators as big as 12 foot and over 3 foot wide. Hunts include lodging, meals and guide. $50 license should be purchased ahead of time by phone or online. Hogs can be added for inexpensive trophy fees.
